There are several high quality beaches near the Villa. Most are yellow and kiddy friendly Dorada Beach is just 800 meters flat walk from the villa and with its yellow sand is ideal for the kids.

Papagayo beaches are world famous and great for beach fun or looking at fish. There are five lovely yellow beaches.

There is a locals beach which is right next to the Marina Rubicon and at the other end of Playa Blanca, Flamingo beach can be found giving you yet another option for enjoying the Sunshine.

Right next to the Marina Rubicon they have opened a shopping centre which not only includes a range of shops and coffee bars but for the kids a six lane bowling alley and pool tables. Bowling cost five euros.

Outside the Shopping centre are boutiques and a coffee shop/bar and for the kids crazy golf, bouncy castles and trampolines.

Finally try the healthy eating Chinese and watch the tummy!

Walks from the Villa are spectacular. There is a walk that takes you miles along a well made coastal path.

In one direction there is the walk to Papagayo and the other is the town walk. The Marina Rubicon is yet another lovely walk or jog for the energetic. A little farther away you can walk up Montana Roja which has some of the best views anywhere

Playa Blanca town is about 1500 meters walk from the Villa and in the town is a vast array of great restaurants, bars and places to shop.

The Marina area has good places to shop for food now but there are big shops in the town also.

Along the waterfront it is a great place to enjoy a meal and on the way to the town there are many shops and restaurants so you will never go hungry.
